Cactus Cutting Healing Process
These pictures are a basic time line of your cactus cutting healing process. Some times the process is faster and some times slower this is due to factors with storage temperature and the time of year they are cut. I have found that if you place your Cactus in a place that the temperature stays between 65 to 85 degrees with lot's of fresh air they will heal in about 4 to 5 weeks. I set them on a news paper on my potting bench in the shade out at my place. By no means try to dry your Cactus cutting with a heat gun or blow dryer, or try to stick the Cactus cutting next to a heater, heater vent or stove, these stupid tactic's will not speed up the healing process it will only kill your Cactus. These cacti want to grow and will even after a year of storage in the proper conditions, so don't panic if you get into your 6th or 7th week.
This process is the same for all cactus cuttings.

Remember you will have to slowly introduce your cactus to full sun again other wise you will burn it!
